JT342 Water Jet Pump
The JT342 is a single – stage axial – flow marine jet pump for yachts, workboats, and patrol boats. It has an input power range of 59 – 469 kW (79 – 629 hp) and an input speed range of 1500 – 3000 rpm. Rotating clockwise when seen from the coupling, it has a 340 – mm impeller diameter and 184 – mm (7.2 – inch) nozzle diameter. The pump housing is made of aluminum alloy, and the spindle and impeller are of stainless steel.
Equipped with a hydraulic steering and a hydraulic reversing system, it has a dual – bucket diversion – type reversing bucket, ensuring easy installation. It uses ISO – standard SWC180 universal joints or same – size ISO – standard flanges for power input. With diesel or electric motors as prime movers and a CCS certificate, it meets international marine safety standards.
For single – pump use, it’s suitable for boats up to 15 m (49 ft) long and 12 t (26455 lb) in weight. For dual – pump use, boats can be up to 20 m (66 ft) long and 25 t (55116 lb). Factory – provided power – speed curves help check engine/motor compatibility. If not matched, a gearbox or custom impeller can be used to adjust for non – standard RPMs.
The single JT342 pump has a dry weight of 205 kg, with a water – containing weight of 72 kg and a gross weight of 293 kg. It comes in a plywood box for packaging. Comprehensive technical documentation is provided to assist with installation planning.
