JT160 Water Jet Pump
The JT160 marine jet pump is a single – stage axial – flow pump designed for small – sized watercraft. It has an input power range of 11 – 90 kW (15 – 121 hp) and an input speed range of 3000 – 6000 rpm. The impeller diameter is 160 mm, and the nozzle diameter is 90 mm (3.5 inches). The pump’s housing is made of aluminum alloy, while the spindle and impeller are made of stainless steel.
Featuring mechanical steering and reversing control systems, the JT160 is simple to install. Its reversing bucket is of the single – bucket diversion type. The pump uses ISO – standard SWC65 universal joints or ISO – standard flanges of the same size for power input and is certified by CCS (China Classification Society), meeting international marine safety standards.
Designed for small – sized motorboats, unmanned vessels, and other small – sized workboats, when used as a single pump, it is recommended for boats with a maximum size of 5 meters (16 feet) and a weight of 0.7 tons (1543 pounds). For dual – pump applications, the recommended maximum size is 7 meters (23 feet) and 1.5 tons (3307 pounds). Factory – provided power – speed curves can help determine the compatibility with engines or motors, and gearboxes or custom impellers can be used to adjust for non – standard RPMs.
The dry weight of a single JT160 pump is 21 kg, with a water – containing weight of 10 kg and a gross weight of 36 kg. It comes in a plywood box for packaging. Comprehensive technical documentation is provided to assist with installation planning.
