JT232 Water Jet Pump
The JT232 is a single – stage mixed – flow marine jet pump for workboats, fishing boats, and lifeboats. It has an input power range of 21 – 208 kW (28 – 279 hp) and input speed of 2000 – 4000 rpm. Rotating clockwise when seen from the coupling, it has a 220 – mm impeller diameter and 125 – mm (4.9 – inch) nozzle diameter. The single pump’s net weight is 66 kg, with a water – containing weight of 30 kg and a gross weight of 92 kg. Its body size is 1050x600x480 mm, and the packaging size is 1100x650x600 mm. The pump housing is made of aluminum alloy, and the spindle and impeller are of stainless steel, packed in a plywood box.
Equipped with a mechanical steering and a hydraulic reversing system, it has a dual – bucket diversion – type reversing bucket, ensuring easy installation. It uses ISO – standard SWC120 universal joints or same – size ISO – standard flanges for power input. With diesel or electric motors as prime movers and a CCS certificate, it meets international marine safety standards.
For single – pump use, it’s suitable for boats up to 8 m (26 ft) long and 3 t (6614 lb) in weight. For dual – pump use, boats can be up to 9 m (30 ft) long and 6 t (13228 lb). Factory – provided power – speed curves help check engine/motor compatibility. If not matched, a gearbox or custom impeller can be used to adjust for non – standard RPMs.
